Ramen Burgers & Roosevelt Island
It’s been about a month since I’ve come back from New York and I’m still obsessing over the Ramen Burger from Ramen Shack. I had been dying to try one ever since stumbling upon a picture of it on the Smorgasburg Yelp page. Of course, with my luck, when I finally made it to the infamous foodie fair in Prospect Park there were zero ramen burgers in sight. Instead I ended up looking up the location of Ramen Shack and off to Long Island I went! There’s a Ramen Shack pop-up located at 13-13 40th Ave in Long Island and both times I went I called ahead and placed my order for pickup.
It’s worth noting that the entrance to the pop-up can be a little confusing as the sign out front doesn’t actually say “Ramen Burger”, but rest assured that it’s there. Also, don’t be confused with the doorbell labeled for “pickup” or “to-go” orders because that’s for the food order services like Postmates and Grub Hub. For normal pickup orders just go right in.
There are a handful of different ramen burgers to choose from on the menu, but both times I opted for The Original “OG” which comes with a Certified Angus Beef Patty, arugula, scallions, and their bomb ass Secret Shoyu Sauce all sandwiched between two perfectly formed ramen buns. It’s a pretty small burger and it costs $10, but (in my opinion) it’s totally worth it.
I’m sure it’s obvious by this point, but I am most DEFINITELY rating the ramen burger from Ramen Shack with a 5 out of 5 on a scale of starry eyed emojis. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Have you tried Ramen Shack’s ramen burger? If not I suggest you do so immediately. 😁 Up next: Dinner & Drinks For One. Stay tuned for more foodie recommendations!
